There are moments when life feels heavy—when the noise of doubt, the sting of imperfection, or the weight of a tough situation makes us question if we’re really enough. I’ve had a few of those moments lately. But within just 24 hours, God spoke to me three different times, gently and clearly, reminding me of something I so deeply needed to hear:
He is bigger.
Bigger than the challenges I face.
Bigger than my flaws and insecurities.
Bigger than anything I can see or imagine.
And yet, even though He’s greater than all of that, He meets me exactly where I am—imperfect, messy, still learning, still growing. He doesn’t ask for perfection. He simply asks for my heart. And He loves me, right here in the middle of it all. Imperfect, but perfect in His eyes.
It’s easy to get caught up in our own struggles, to zoom in on what’s going wrong. And in those moments, we can forget just how vast, how strong, how faithful God truly is. But the truth is—His power is limitless, and His love never wavers. It doesn’t depend on how we feel or what we get right. It just is.
When I heard God whisper again and again that He is bigger, these scriptures rose up in my spirit:
Isaiah 55:9
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
God’s ways stretch far beyond what we can grasp. That brings me peace. Even in the unknown, He is working things out with divine precision.
Ephesians 3:20
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
His power isn’t just bigger—it’s beyond measure. And it’s already at work within us, even when we don’t feel it.
Romans 8:39
“Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Nothing—not our mess, our past, our present, or our fears—can separate us from that love. That’s the kind of love that meets us right in our humanity and never lets go.
So, when you’re facing something that feels too big—when anxiety creeps in, when you feel small or unseen—remember this:
God is bigger.
Bigger than the fear.
Bigger than the storm.
Bigger than anything this world can throw at you.
And the most beautiful part? He’s already with you. He meets you exactly where you are and loves you through every step.
You are enough.
You are loved.
And God’s love is bigger than any doubt, any challenge, any mistake you carry.
✨ Closing Reflection & Prayer
As I reflect on God’s greatness, I’m reminded that even in our weakest, most imperfect moments, He never turns away. There is no burden too heavy for Him, no part of our story too small for His care, and no mountain too steep for His strength.
Take a moment—right here—and name the thing that feels too big right now. Hold it in your heart. And then… let go. Hand it to the One who is greater than anything you’re up against.
Breathe in.
God is bigger.
Breathe out.
And He is with you.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for meeting me in every place—high or low, joyful or weary. Thank You for Your love that pours into my heart every single day, whether I feel worthy of it or not.
Lord, on the days when I can’t see clearly, when fear clouds my vision or doubt tries to take hold, remind me again of who You are. Remind me that You are bigger—bigger than my fears, my imperfections, my circumstances.
Thank You for loving me right here, just as I am.
Help me rest in the truth that Your power is limitless and Your love for me is unchanging.
When I feel overwhelmed, lead me back to Your peace.
Thank You for always being greater. For always being near. For always being faithful.
